Swap Style- Free Clothes and a Good Cause

Some of the most fashionable women in Ipswich went away with a fresh new outfit that didn't cost them a penny at this years Swap Style event, held at David Lloyd Leisure on May 28th 2010.

Gorgeous Star PR helped to organise a clothes swapping and beauty event to support the EAST Treehouse appeal to help raise money for a new children's hospice is Suffolk. The fashion loving swappers all brought along five items of clothing or accessories and went away with the same number of new items at the end of the night.

Whilst waiting for the swap to commence swappers were tempted by Tina's cupcakes (also a favourite of Peter Andre's) after all lot's of swapping must burn some calories. The Body Shop and beauty therapist Fleur Shaw were also on hand to offer beauty advise and mini treatments. Natalie Welsh from Lemon Pie Design was show-casing her beautiful range of occassion stationary at the event!
Money was raised for the EACH appeal from a special raffle with prizes kindly donated by the event exhibitors as well as co-organiser and fashion designer, Shereen Barrett. All remaining clothes and accessorise left after the swap were also donated to the local Ipswich EACH Charity shop.
Thank you to David Lloyd Leisure for supplying such a perfect venue for the event and a big thanks to all the swappers for coming along and joining in the Swapping fun!
