Closer journalist Katie Banks attended the launch of the new Imagine Spa at The Hilton Hotel Heathrow Terminal 5, on November 11th and mingled with our celebrity guests including, Nicola McClean, Michelle Heaton, Lauren Pope, Lauren Goodger and Vanessa Feltz!

All of our special guests enjoyed a champagne reception, mini spa
treatments, gorgeous food and stayed overnight at the 5 star hotel.
The next day everyone made the most of the luxurious Imagine Spa  facilities.

Lauren Goodger was so impressed with the spa and hotel she stayed there again last weekend before flying off to LA. She also brought TOWIE star, Lydia Rose Bright, with her as well!

Famous chef Cyrus Todiwala served up an amazing selection of Indian food and wowed guests with his cooking demonstrations.

Leading Organic skincare line, Babor used at the spa provided the goody bags.

JIAN LONDON JOINS GORGEOUS STAR PR

For as long as I can remember I have always loved beautiful jewellery. Before I was old enough to buy my own, I used to raid my mum's jewellery box, trying on all her rings and other pieces which were far too big for me at the time, but I didn't care, it was a real treat! It's probably not surprising that as a student I worked in Accessorize, an absolute treasure trove, for people like me! My first job after leaving university was with the UK's biggest jewellery buying office, working for some of the most popular fashion jewellery brands on the high street. Whilst my career path gradually progressed into PR and Marketing, my love of fashion and jewellery has come along with me, and when setting up Gorgeous Star PR, I very much wanted to represent clients within these industries that I feel so passionate about.

I am therefore delighted to have recently started working for Jian London, an award winning designer Jeweller, specialising in luxury gem set jewellery. I was really impressed by Jian's high end innovative designs and their breathtaking new Stardust Collection, which I know will prove to be incredibly popular. Award Win for Gorgeous Star PR

With great pride I can announce that Gorgeous Star PR won 'Best Start up Business' in the Anglian Business Awards 2011.

The awards, organised by the East Anglian Daily Times for the 14th year running and supported by Choose Suffolk as main sponsor, were announced at a gala dinner ceremony at Trinity Park, Ipswich, hosted by BBC television and radio presenter John Humphrys on July 7th 2011.

The judges commented that this years entries had been the highest standard to date, so I feel incredibly proud and appreciative to have been given this prestigious award. The other businesses within my category were all fantastic and I am sure it was a challenge for the judges to choose between us.

Over 300 people attended the event, and it was lovely to see so many members of the local business community coming together to celebrate such achievements.

I would like to say a big thank you to the event organisers and sponsors for putting together such a brilliant event, and well done to all the other award winners and finalists!

Shortlisted for an Anglian Business Award

I am delighted to announce that Gorgeous Star PR has been shortlisted for an Anglian Business Award in the category of best Start up Business of the year- 2011.

I am really honoured to have been shortlisted and am really looking forward to attending the awards dinner which will be hosted by BBC Radio 4’s John Humphrys at Trinty Park in Ipswich on July 7th. I am sure the evening will be a truly fantastic event, and it will be lovely to meet the other people who have been shortlisted and find out more their businesses.

I appreciate the opportunity to enter into such awards, as it is a wonderful celebration to join together with other business owners in the region and recognise what everyone has achieved, despite the challenging economic climate- it goes to show that it is not all doom and gloom, and that if you take the leap, and are prepared to work really hard, you can create a successful and fulfilling business.

It's also a great excuse to buy a new dress!!!
